Dashboards and metrics: templates, widgets, public links and export

Build a dashboard from a template or from scratch, filter by period and source, share it with a read-only link, and export to PowerPoint, PDF or CSV.

Create a dashboard

From Dashboards press New dashboard. Start from a template (executive, journey, Voice of the Customer or survey dashboard) or from a blank dashboard. Template widgets are added to your dashboard and can be edited afterwards.

Widgets

  • Add one with Add widget: KPI number, gauge, NPS breakdown, question summary, trend over time, bars, stacked bars, donut, response funnel, table, verbatim feed, feedback status, journey emotion line, touchpoint heatmap and free text.
  • Each widget has settings for its source (a survey and question, Voice of the Customer, or a journey), its period and filters.
  • Drag widgets to reorder and drag the corner to resize.

Filters

The filter bar at the top applies the period and the filters you add to every widget. Any widget can override the global filter with its own from its settings.

Under Share, enable the public link:

  • Password (optional): asked before the dashboard is shown.
  • Expiry date: the link stops working after it.
  • You can disable the link at any time.

Password and expiry are available on the Enterprise plan. The link shows a read-only dashboard in the visitor's language and exposes nothing outside the dashboard.

Export

  • PowerPoint deck: slides with the dashboard's widgets and their data; charts remain editable in PowerPoint.
  • PDF for printing.
  • CSV or a PNG image for any widget from its options.

Metric library

The Metrics page is a library where you define how each metric (such as NPS, CSAT and CES) is calculated; every dashboard that uses it updates automatically.

Limits

The Dashboards tool allows 15 dashboards per organisation; Enterprise has no limit.
